Getting Started

Welcome to Second Brain Digest! This guide will walk you through setting up your account and receiving your first digest.

Step 1: Create Your Account

  1. Visit secondbraindigest.com and click Sign Up
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Check your inbox for a magic link - click it to complete signup
  4. You're now logged in to your dashboard

Step 2: Install the Obsidian Plugin

To generate digests, Second Brain Digest needs access to your vault data. This is done securely through our Obsidian plugin.

  1. Open Obsidian and go to Settings > Community plugins
  2. Disable Restricted mode if prompted
  3. Click Browse and search for "Second Brain Digest"
  4. Install and enable the plugin
  5. See Connecting Your Vault for detailed setup instructions

Step 3: Configure Your Settings

Once your vault is synced, customize your digest experience:

  • Timezone - Ensure digests arrive at the right time for you
  • Modules - Choose which sections to include in your digest
  • Schedule - Set when you want to receive your daily email

Step 4: Generate Your First Digest

You can generate a digest immediately from your dashboard:

  1. Go to your Dashboard
  2. Click Generate Digest
  3. Check your email for your first personalized digest
